NUTRITION worse is the condition of the body that looks very skinny because the food is eaten every day can not meet the required nutrients, especially calories and protein.

Signs of marasmus children (less calories)

The signs of kwashiorkor children (less protein)
(1) Swelling (edema) is almost in the whole body, especially your back and legs. (2) round and puffy face (moon face). (3) eyes were dull and glazed. (4) hair is thin, rare, and easily removed. (5) There are red and black patches on the skin, sometimes peeling. (6) whiny, fussy, and “apathy”.
Countermeasures
(1) Mother provides a variety of foods in small portions and often to children as needed and instructions on how to provision of food from the hospital / doctor / clinic.
(2) When the toddler was treated, notice given food. Then, go home.
(3) Give only breast milk if a baby aged less than four months.
(4) Try to wean after a two-year-old
(5) Provide supplementary food milk (porridge, fruit, crackers, etc..) For infants over four months and provide age-appropriate stages.
For prevention
(1) Weigh each month to a neighborhood health center infants
(2) Report to medical personnel on the development of child health and child’s weight.
